2. This appeal has been filed for setting aside order dated 01.05.2024 passed in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 341, 323, 307, 353 , 504, 506 and 120B and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3(i)(r)(s)3(2)(v)(i) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, whereby
Patna High Court CR. APP (SJ) No.2468 of 2024(3) dt.30-08-2024 2/2 the prayer for anticipatory bail of the appellant has been rejected.
3 . As per prosecution case , all the F.I.R., named accused persons along with these appellants are alleged to be indulged in illegal mining of sand. It is further alleged that on 21.08.2023 while informant was on duty to stop illegal sand transportation at the Manjhwe check post, in the meantime , all the accused persons including these appellants assaulted informant and also abused him by caste name . Appellants have got criminal antecedents of similar nature .
4. Considering the nature of accusation , criminal antecedents of these appellants, I do not find any reason to interfere with the impugned order, accordingly this appeal is dismissed.
