This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Bahadurpur P.S. Case No.468 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 149, 342, 323, 324, 504, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner's prayer for grant of regular bail was earlier rejected on 06.02.2020.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the trial has commenced, but no witness has been examined after February, 2020 and thus there is no progress at the trial.
The petitioner's application was rejected on 06.02.2020. There is no fresh ground for this Court to reconsider petitioner's prayer for regular bail after its earlier rejection on 06.02.2020, except that he has remained in custody thereafter.

No.35354 of 2020(3) dt.15-01-2021 2/2 Considering the facts and circumstances, while rejecting this application, it is considered appropriate to direct the Court below to ensure expeditious conclusion of the trial, preferably within three months from the date of communication of this order.
If the trial is not concluded, the petitioner shall be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
This application is accordingly rejected.
