BAJANTHRI ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 12-01-2022 This matter is heard via video conferencing due to circumstances prevailing on account of the COVID-19 Pandemic. In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- "(i) For the Respondents be directed to pay over time Salary/Allowance for the period of August 2013 to Jan. 2018.
(ii) For the respondent be directed to pay Compound Interest @ 9%
Patna High Court CWJC No.291 of 2021 dt.12-01-2022 2/2 per annum over the amount for which petitioner is entitled since date of retirement to till date of payment.
(iii) For any other relief or reliefs as your lordship may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances."
In support of the aforesaid relief petitioner submitted representation on 06.11.2019 but the concerned respondent has not acted on the petitioner's representation for redressing the grievance of the petitioner as stated in the representation. Therefore, the concerned respondent is hereby directed to pass a speaking order as to whether petitioner is entitled to redress his grievance as stated in the representation or not? In this regard, speaking order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner within a period of four months from the date of receipt of this order.
With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed off.
