The petitioners being the parents of the husband of the informant are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. The accusation is of torture for nonfulfillment of the dowry demand. It is alleged that the accused petitioners including the petitioners tried to cause burn injury to the informant.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that no injury was caused to the informant and thrust

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7784 of 2015 (02) dt.26-02-2015 2/2 of accusation is against the husband of the informant. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioners be released on anticipatory bail in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of twelve weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi in connection with Bela P.S. Case No. 96 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
