JUSTICE BIRENDRA PRASAD VERMA ORAL ORDER 07-12-2015 Despite repeated calls, none appears on behalf of the petitioner in support of the present writ petition, though the names of the learned counsel appearing on his behalf are printed in the daily cause list.

Learned G.P. 8 appearing on behalf of the respondents, on the other hand, submits that the lands in question claimed by the petitioner were acquired way back in the year 1977 and compensation was paid to the entitled persons and thereafter possession over the same was taken. According to him, no objection was filed by the petitioner at any point of time. However, after more than 30 years he filed a petition for payment of compensation of the land in question, which has been rejected by the District Collector, Khagaria by the impugned order dated 11.05.2012 (Annexure-1), which cannot be legally faulted. Be that as it may, since none is appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the writ petition stands dismissed for want of
