JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 06-04-2016 The petitioner being husband of the informant is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 506, 380, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The basic accusation is of torture for nonfulfilment of dowry demand and driving out the informant from the matrimonial house.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the issue has been settled between the parties. The informant has performed second marriage and at earlier point of time the case was lodged by the petitioner's side. It appears from the impugned order that the case has been registered under Sections 498A, 506, 380, 342/34 of the Indian Penal Code and the charge-sheet has been submitted after declaring the petitioner as absconder.
