JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 08-09-2022 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "(i) For issuance of direction upon the authorities of National Highway Authority, NH-82 not to fill up the Pond (water body) of village-Dakhingaon, which is the only water body of the village and is used for irrigating the agricultural land of the village and for other purposes also.

(ii) For further direction upon the respondent authorities to either change the alignment of NH-82 to save the

(iii) For further direction upon the respondent authorities not to proceed with construction of road over the particular plot, over which the public pond (water body) is situated, during the pendency of this writ application.

(iv) For direction upon the NH authorities to restore the original status of the water body which has been changed by filling soil for construction of NH-82."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Chief Secretary, Government of Bihar, Patna for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case, appropriate representation is filed within a period of four weeks from today, the Chief Secretary, Government of Bihar, Patna shall consider the

Patna High Court CWJC No.10019 of 2022(2) dt.08-09-2022 3/3 same and pass appropriate orders, forthwith.

The writ petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
