ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 23-09-2025 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the grievance of the petitioner with regard to the payment of principal amount has been redressed by the authority but the interest on the delayed payment has not been granted. Learned counsel submits that the work was completed by the petitioner in the year 2020 and the amount has been paid on 29.07.2025. Learned counsel submits that the respondents may be directed to pay the interest on the delayed payment.

2. Having regard to the above made submission, the present writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to file a suitable representation to the Electric

Patna High Court CWJC No.9208 of 2025(4) dt.23-09-2025 2/2 Executive Engineer, Electric Works Division BCD, Ara (i.e., the respondent No. 2 herein) ventilating his grievance within a period of four weeks from today. On such representation being given, the authority shall consider the same and pass necessary orders for grant of the interest on the delayed payment strictly in accordance with law. Any order passed, shall be communicated to the parties.

3. With the above direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
