The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Matihani P. S. Case No.152 of 2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 25(1-b)A, 26 of the Arms Act.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 24.11.2020, he is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case.

Allegation is of recovery of a loaded country-made pistol along with a cartridge and a mobile.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and nothing was recovered from his conscious possession.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 24.11.2020, he is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Matihani P. S. Case No.152 of 2020.

The application stands allowed.
