The petitioner, who is in custody 27.08.2020, seeks bail in connection with Rivilganj P.S. Case No. 04 of 2017, dated 07.01.2017, instituted for the offences under Sections 30, 30(a) and 38 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35088 of 2020(2) dt.06-01-2021 2/2 It appears from the prosecution report that 231.480 litres of liquor was recovered from the house of one Mritunjay Singh, who is said to have disclosed the name of the petitioner and another in the offence.
Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the petitioner and his period of custody, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Addl. Sessions Judge-Cum-Special Judge, Excise, Saran at Chapra in connection with Rivilganj P.S. Case No. 04 of 2017.
