2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special (NDPS) Case No.27 of 2021 dated 06.07.2021, instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 8 and 20(ii)(b)(c) of the NDPS Act.
3. The allegation is of recovery of 330 Kg. Ganja from the pickup van bearing registration nu. BR 33 M 4043 of which the petitioner was the driver.
4. Earlier, prayer of the petitioner for bail was rejected twice by this Court. This is the third attempt.
5. Vide order dated 20.06.2025, a report was called for from the trial Court about the present case of the trial and the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36862 of 2025(3) dt.18-07-2025 2/2 likely time to be taken in its conclusion. The report of the trial Court has been received and kept at flag- 'R'. The trial Court in its report has reported that four witnesses out of five witnesses have already been examined and last chance has been given to the prosecution to produce witness. The trial Court has further reported that about one month's time is required for disposal of the case subject to proper co-operation and assistance from both sides.
6. Having regard to the aforesaid, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
7. Prayer for bail is once again rejected.
8. The trial Court shall take all endeavour to conclude the trial within the expected time.
9. The application stands dismissed.
