The petitioner seeks bail in Kumarkhand P.S. Case No.202 of 2020, corresponding to Excise Case No.495 of 2020 registered under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The informant got information that the petitioner had kept huge quantity of liquor in his mud-built house and on such, a raid was conducted. 316 litres of Indian made foreign liquor of different brands was recovered.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in jail since 05.08.2020. Petitioner has already remained in jail for six months and petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Taking into consideration the facts that for the

No.34333 of 2020(3) dt.05-02-2021 2/2 recovery of about 300 litres of Indian made foreign liquor petitioner has remained in jail for six months and he has got no criminal antecedent, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Madhepura in connection with Kumarkhand P.S. Case No.202 of 2020, corresponding to Excise Case No.495 of 2020.
