The present application has been filed for initiation of a contempt proceeding against the opposite parties for their wilful and deliberate disobedience of the order of this Court dated 21.08.2023 whereby this Court while disposing of the writ petition extended the liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh representation for airing their grievance before the respondent no. 6.

3. The show cause affidavit on behalf of opposite party nos. 4 to 8 has been filed with a categorical assertion that in compliance with the order of this Court, the representation of the petitioners was duly considered and admissible amount has been paid to the petitioners.

4. Learned Advocate for the petitioners contended that the concerned opposite parties were required to ensure payment

5. Be that as it may, considering the nature of the order and the averments made in the show cause affidavit, this Court does not find any reason to continue with the present proceeding and accordingly the contempt proceeding stands closed. However, the petitioners will be at liberty to approach the authority concerned for their remaining grievance, if any.
