JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) Date: 30-06-2017 Inter alia contending that in implementation of the scheme MANREGA various financial irregularities have been committed, this petition has been filed in public interest seeking an inquiry into the matter.
2. Under the MANREGA Scheme itself there is a provision for resolution of such dispute and cause of inquiry by the State Level Monitoring Committee and thereafter by a further Committee envisaged under the Scheme and considering all these factors, a coordinate Bench of this Court in the case of Vijay Shahi
Patna High Court CWJC No.5333 of 2017 dt.30-06-2017 2/2 & Ors. Vs. The Union of India and others- 2014 (4) PLJR 108 had relegated the parties to take recourse to the remedy of representing to the Development Commissioner, Chairman of the Committee and the Committee was directed to look into the matter.
3. The petitioner is also granted liberty to represent to the Development Commissioner, Chairman of the Committee constituted under the Scheme and the Committee is directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner and proceed in accordance with law.
4. With the aforesaid liberty to the petitioner, the matter stands disposed of.
