JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 23-07-2018 The present writ petition has been filed for a direction in the nature of mandamus to the respondent no. 3 for deciding the matter remanded to him by the Collector, Araria, by order dated 12.02.2008 to decide the claims of the petitioner with regard to the allotment of licence to the petitioner which is still pending before the Sub Divisional Officer, Araria without assigning any reason for the same; and for connected reliefs.

2. None appears on behalf of the petitioner when the matter is called.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents submits on the basis of the averments made in para 4 of the counter affidavit that the

Patna High Court CWJC No.14541 of 2014 dt.23-07-2018 licensing authority has since restored the licence no. 9R/2006 and issued a fresh licence no. 12/R/2014 to the petitioner and hence the grievance of the petitioner has now been redressed.

4. In view of the statement made in the counter affidavit, the writ petition stands dismissed.
