Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chhatapur (R.O.P.) P.S. Case No. 303 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 392 and 411 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, three unknown criminals looted the motorcycle and Rs. 40,000/- from the informant. Materials have come during investigation connecting the petitioner with this crime.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 06.09.2022 and has similar antecedents of 5 cases.

No.39001 of 2023(2) dt.21-07-2023 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the similarly situated co-accused Sintu Kumar has been granted bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Hon'ble Court vide order dated 28.06.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 37154 of 2023. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected herewith.

The District Judge, Supaul is directed to expedite the trial of all the cases in one court pending against the petitioner.
