2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 498A, 354, 307 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, registered in connection Bhagwanpur P.S.Case No. 18 of 2024.

3. As per allegation, the petitioners and other accused persons subjected the victim to cruelty on account of nonfulfilment of demand of dowry and ousted the victim from her matrimonial house.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated. The wife of the petitioner had also lodged a case with similar

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35565 of 2025(4) dt.24-12-2025 2/3 allegation at Bokaro in Jharkhand, in which the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail. The learned counsel has submitted further that, during investigation of this case, no case was found true under Sections 307 and other sections of the IPC. It is also submitted that the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Bokaro in Original Maintenance Case No. 234/2023 has granted interim maintenance of Rs. 4,000/- per month to the wife, but she is not providing her bank account number for which the petitioner has filed an application and that is why the arrears of maintenance are not being deposited in the account of the wife (victim)

5. On the other hand, the learned counsel for the informant has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail by submitting that the petitioner and other accused persons assaulted the victim.

6. Considering the above facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from the date of communication of this order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional, Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Bhagwanpur
