The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Kotwali (Tatarpur) P.S. Case No. 762 of 2014 registered under sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120B of the I.P.C. pending in the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhagalpur. The accusation is that the petitioner managed to Bikas Kumar to appear in the examination of Central Selection Board (Sipahi Selection) Examination held on 19.10.2014 in his place.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that in fact, the admit cart of the petitioner was lost and he could not know who was sitting in the examination hall in the place of petitioner. It is further submitted that petitioner has

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16398 of 2015 (2) dt.02-06-2015 2/2 neither any concern nor contact with the said Bikas Kumar, who found sitting in examination with the admit card of the petitioner. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and nature of the allegation, I am inclined to allow the prayer of the petitioner for anticipatory bail. Accordingly, this application stands rejected.
