Patna High Court CWJC No.11984 of 2019 dt.02-12-2022 2/3 On the death of the father of the petitioner who was a licensee, the petitioner had applied for grant of license on compassionate ground, which application was recommended as well. However, the District Selection Committee, on finding certain anomalies in the inquiry report with respect to the date of birth and some other aspects, refused to consider the case of the petitioner for the needful.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the confusion has arisen in the mind of the District Selection Committee only for the reason of there are two records; one of his and the other of his twin brother, as a result of which the petitioner's application has not been considered.

In view of the afore-noted submission, we deem it appropriate to direct the petitioner to make a suitable complaint before the Commissioner of the Division within a period of thirty days, who after affording reasonable
