ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 30-06-2026 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that inadvertently the District Transport Officer, Saran, Chapra has not been made a party and seeks permission to make the District Transport Officer, Saran, Chapra as party Respondent No. 4 in the present writ petition during the course of the day.

2. Permission is granted.

3. Registry is directed to make necessary changes in the Cause Title accordingly.

4. Without going into the merits or demerits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the Counsels.

5. It is the case of the petitioner that though the petitioner has made an application seeking registration of the Tank Truck for the purposes of employing them with the Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited under the Agreement to Sale (ATS) Scheme, the authority till date has not taken any action on the same. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner has made an application seeking registration of the Tank Truck and paid the necessary amounts in the month of April, 2026 vide belated generated payment receipt dated 15.04.2026, 16.04.2026 and 08.05.2026, Annexure-P/3 series. Learned counsel submits that a direction may be issued to the Respondent Nos. 3 and 4 herein to process the application made by the petitioner by fixing a time frame.

6. Having regard to the above made submissions, the present writ petition is disposed of directing the Respondent Nos. 3 and 4 herein to consider the applications (payment receipt dated 15.04.2026, 16.04.2026 and

Patna High Court CWJC No.9111 of 2026(2) dt.30-06-2026 3/3 08.05.2026 vide Annexure-P/3 series) made by the petitioner seeking registration of the Tank Trucks as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 4 weeks from the date of the receipt of the copy of this order. Any order passed shall be communicated to the party.

7. With the above directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
