By filing this application under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks quashing of the first information report in Mufassil P.S.Case No.128 of 2014 registered for the offences punishable under section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003.

The allegations made in the FIR do constitute a cognizable offence.

In that view of the matter, I find no merit in this
