The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Bahadurpur P.S. Case No. 221 of 2014 registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.
According to the prosecution case the accused persons entered into the house of the informant and forcibly snatched Rs. 15,000/-. On alarm many persons came there. It further appears that two persons came on scooty for taking the motor cycle which was standing near the house of the informant but on chase they fled away. After sometime they again came for taking the aforesaid motorcycle but by that time the police also came there and on chase apprehended two persons namely, Ravi Kumar and Abhimanu Singh who disclosed the name of the petitioner.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6318 of 2015 (2) dt.16-02-2015 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a student and he has no link with the alleged occurrence. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. On perusal of the record it appears that two accused persons apprehend on the spot immediately after the occurrence and they disclosed the name of the petitioner, who managed to flee away.
Considering the facts, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail and hence the same is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J) Prakash/- U T
