2. The instant writ application has been filed for the following relief(s) :
"i) For commanding and directing the relevant respondents to grant promotion of petitioner to the post of Head Master as promoted to similarly situated persons.
(ii) For commanding the directing the essential respondents to make payment of all the monetary benefits, as accrued, due to grants of promotion to the post of Headmaster in the shape of arrears with other consequential benefits.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that the claim of promotion under the Modified Assured Career Progression (MACP) Scheme has already been granted to the petitioner vide office order contained in Memo No. 791 dated 18.06.2020, issued under the signature of the Additional Deputy Director of Education, Patna Division, Patna. However, with respect to the claim for promotion to the post of Headmaster, the same has not yet been granted.

On the other hand, learned counsel for the respondentState submits that the petitioner has sought the relief for promotion on the basis of certain similarly situated persons who are said to have been promoted to the post of Headmaster. However, from a perusal of the writ petition, it does not appear as to who are those similarly situated persons who have been granted such promotion ignoring the claim of the petitioner.
5. At this stage, learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that a detailed representation with respect to the claim for promotion to the post of Headmaster, along with the particulars of those persons who have allegedly been

6. Considering the aforesaid, the petitioner is directed to file a representation before respondent no. 3 within a period of two weeks. Upon submission of such representation, respondent no. 3 shall take a final decision thereon within a period of six weeks, and if it is found that the petitioner is entitled to the benefit claimed, the same shall be extended to him within the said period.
7. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
