2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Bounsi P.S. Case No. 234 of 2024 for the offences registered under Sections 87, 96 of the BNS and Section 8 of the POSCO Act.

3. Allegation against the petitioner is that he has kidnapped the victim for the purpose of marriage.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case only on the basis of suspicion. The victim in her statement under Section 183 of the BNSS has not made any allegation

As per the medical report, the victim is more than 18 years old. The petitioner is in custody since 03.11.2024 having no criminal antecedent. He undertakes to cooperate in the investigation and trial of the case.

5. Learned counsels appearing on behalf of the informant and State oppose the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering the submissions made on behalf of the parties and facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge -6-cum Special Judge, POCSO, Banka in connection with Bounsi P.S. Case No. 234 of 2024.
