The petitioner seeks bail in Sangrampur P.S. Case No. 202/2018, instituted for offences under Section(s) 8, 20 and 22 of NDPS Act.

It is alleged in the written report that on getting secret information that petitioner, who is night guard of Ramdhani College, Sangrampur and residing in the Guard room of college, is indulged in selling of Ganja, police party reached there and apprehended the petitioner. It is further alleged that the police after complying the provision of Section 50 of the NDPS Act made search of the aforesaid room and recovered total 46.2 kg Ganja. Thereafter seizure-list was prepared and one copy of seizure-list was handed over to the petitioner.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35750 of 2019(3) dt.22-07-2019 2/2 Keeping in view the recovery of huge quantity of Ganja from the Guard room, where petitioner was residing, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for bail of petitioner is rejected.
