The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered under Sections 272/273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47(A) of the Excise Act.

According to the prosecution case, some persons were found fleeing away from the house of the petitioner and, on raid, 20 litres of country-made liquor were recovered. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the house does not belong to the petitioner, but from perusal of the record, it appears that from the house of the petitioner, the country-made liquor was recovered.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail Amdabad P.S. Case No. 170/2013. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
