1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner in this application prays for bail apprehending his arrest in connection with Katra P.S. Case no.337 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under sections 376, 448 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the informant states that the petitioner herein entered the house of the informant and attempted to rape her. On 'hulla' being raised, he ran away leaving behind his slippers.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the case because of other reasons on account of the petitioner and the informant being neighbours. No such occurrence as alleged has taken place. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

5. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegation against the petitioner who has been named in the F.I.R. together with the contents of the case diary referred to in the order of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge 18th, Muzaffarpur, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the same is rejected.
