The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Complaint Case No. 409C of 2013, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 18(a)(1) read with Section 27(c) of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940.
It has been submitted that 20 strips of tablets were seized from the medicine shop of the petitioner and on test it was found that the tablets are of substandard quality. It is further submitted that the petitioner is not a manufacturer and he had purchased the 20 strips of tablets from the company. He is not responsible for manufacturing substandard products. Considering the facts aforesaid the petitioner above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.35000 of 2014 (2) dt.13-03-2015 2/2 below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Birpur, Supaul in connection with Complaint Case No. 409C of 2013, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
