The petitioners are apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147/149/341/323/427/353 of the Indian Penal Code. It is alleged that the FIR named accused persons entered into the Gopalganj office of North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited and made obstruction in discharging the official duty, damaged furniture and other articles of the office worth Rs.3,00,000/-.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the accusation is not specific. In fact, the FIR has been lodged when protest was made by the villagers against nonsupply of electricity. A statement has been made in paragraph 3
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.13459 of 2015 (2) dt.07-05-2015 2/2 of the petition that the petitioners have no criminal antecedent. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioners be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of 12 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of `10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Gopalganj Town P.S. Case No.547 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
