JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) Date: 10-07-2017 Making a grievance with regard to financial irregularity by the District Education Officer of Khagaria and inter alia contending that no action is taken in spite of complaints made, this petition has been filed in public interest. Records indicate that petitioner had made a complaint to the State Government and the State Government has sought for certain information on affidavit and it is the case of the petitioner that in spite of the same having been filed no action is being taken in the matter.

Patna High Court CWJC No.3990 of 2017 dt.10-07-2017 2/2 If with regard to financial irregularity the Government authorities are not taking any action in the matter, on complaint being filed, vigilance authorities of the State Government, namely Lokayukta and other statutory authorities are competent to look into the grievance, but in the present matter interference is not called for as the petitioner has approached this Court without availing such a statutory remedy.

Granting liberty to the petitioner to approach Lokayukta of the State or any such authority by filing a complaint, this application is disposed of.
