Petitioners, father-in-law and husband of the deceased respectively, apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence under sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Informant alleges that the petitioners and their family members were in habit of demanding dowry and on nonfulfilment of the same, they started subjecting his daughter to cruelty and finally they killed her at the matrimonial house by administering her poison.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the informant's daughter died of snake bite and the parties have compromised the matter.

In the facts of the case as well as on consideration of

No.41526 of 2019(5) dt.04-12-2019 2/2 the allegation that the victim died in suspicious circumstance at her matrimonial house within three years of her marriage, prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected with direction to surrender and seek regular bail within six weeks, which would be disposed of on its own merit without prejudice.
