The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case under section 307 and other sections of the I.P.C.

The informant named the petitioner, but did not make specific allegation of assault. The informant made allegation that Vidyasagar Ram assaulted him with iron rod which hit on his head. Kalicharan Ram assaulted Prabash Kumar with lathi on his head. The other accused persons alleged to have pelted stones. It is submitted that the students of a hostel entered into scuffle, but no specific allegation has been made against the petitioner. The injuries are simple in nature. The case has been compromised.
