The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Raghopur P.S. Case No.15 of 2020, registered under Sections 25(1-b)a/26/35 of the Arms Act.

The informant alleged that during the course of vehicle checking, three person were seen coming on a motorcycle. When they were signaled to stop, two persons got down from the motorcycle and fled away. One of them was apprehended who disclosed his name as Ranjit Rai. Ranjit Rai disclosed that Shravan Ram managed to flee away. From possession of Rajit Rai, arms and ammunition were recovered. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing has been recovered from possession of the petitioner and petitioner has got no criminal antecedent, but it appears that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35364 of 2020(2) dt.19-03-2021 2/2 the petitioner was also accompanying Ranjit Rai. From possession of Ranjit Rai loaded country made pistol was recovered. Ranjit Rai disclosed on the spot that it was the petitioner who managed to flee away.

Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
