JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 27-04-2016 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusation is of killing the daughter of the informant after three years of marriage for non fulfillment of dowry demands.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the victim died natural death and the informant has retracted from the initial version. More over, the informant came to know about the incident on 23.10.2015 but the FIR was registered on 25.10.2015.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18219 of 2016 (2) dt.27-04-2016 2/2 It is submitted by learned APP that just prior to the death, the victim conveyed the apprehension of being killed to her family members.
Considering the nature of accusation, let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner in case the petitioner surrenders within six weeks from today in connection with Rajgir P.S. Case No. 226 of 2015 pending in the court of learned C.J.M. Nalanda.
This application is disposed of with the aforesaid observation/direction.
