JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR) 23-01-2024 Apropos the order of this Court dated 25.09.2023, the learned Advocate General has appeared for the proposed contemnor and has explained the circumstances under which the direction of the court below for stopping the salary of two of the police officers for not having dispatched the injury report on time, was flouted.

2. The officer concerned is present before this Court and has also explained that it was the Hospital Administration which had played truant and not the

Patna High Court MJC No.1155 of 2022(9) dt.23-01-2024 2/2 police personnel and he has also expressed his regret of not having informed the court below before releasing the salary of one of the personnel on account of the extreme urgency and need for that police officer to be paid his salary.

3. We are satisfied that no contempt has been made out against the proposed contemnor.

4. We say no further and close the proceedings.

5. The petition is disposed off.
