Late Binod Mallik is stated to be a Safai Karamchari under Munger Municipal Corporation. Since death happened in harness on 03.05.2014, she has approached the Municipal Commissioner of Munger for settlement of the death-cum-other dues of the late employee.

Instead of adjourning the matter for filing of a counter affidavit, the writ application is disposed of with a direction upon the Municipal Commissioner of Munger to take a decision and settle the dues of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of three
