The petitioner being the husband of the victim is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that the daughter of the informant performed love marriage with the petitioner. On 17.08.2012, the victim informed the informant that some altercation took place with her husband. On 17.08.2012, again the victim informed the informant that she was put on fire by the petitioner. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the victim received accidental fire injury ad the petitioner tried to save her as result the petitioner also received serious

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.15064 of 2015 (2) dt.13-05-2015 2/2 burn injuries and the medical assistance was provided to the victim. Moreover, the investigation has yet not concluded. The aforesaid facts may be considered by the learned court below while considering the prayer for regular bail, if the petitioner surrenders within a period of six weeks in connection with Kusheshwar Asthan P.S. Case No.273 of 2012, pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga. With the above observation, this application is, accordingly, disposed off.
