The petitioner, who is the mother-in-law of the deceased, seeks bail in anticipation of her arrest in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 484 of 2019, dated 19.11.2019, instituted for the offences under Sections 304B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code. It has been alleged in the F.I.R. that the deceased was married to the son of the petitioner in the year 2019,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35166 of 2020(2) dt.23-03-2021 2/3 but she was ill-treated right from the beginning. Later, she died and her dead-body was cremated stealthily. The informant was told by the villagers that the deceased had been burnt and strangulated.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that a false accusation has been made against the petitioner who is an old lady and who had been living separately from his son and daughter-in-law.

The husband of the deceased is in custody.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is only general and omnibus allegation against her and that also on the information provided by the villagers.

Regard being had to the facts afore-stated, the petitioner above-named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of eight weeks, is directed to be released on bail on her furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West
