The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Agiaon Bazar P.S. Case No. 07 of 2010 registered for the offences punishable under section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. It has been contended that the case was registered against unknown and in course of investigation, apart from confessional statement of the co-accused, there is no other material to connect the petitioner with the alleged offence. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail. She has submitted that the case is under investigation and the petitioner is evading arrest since last more than four years.
Regard being had to the nature of allegation, I am not
