JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 22-07-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1(i) For issuance of direction to the District Magistrate, Siwan to take final decision with respect to grant of arm license to the petitioner for which petitioner received two notices vide Memo No. 135 dated 09.02.2012 and Memo No.36 dated 08.01.2016 and the petitioner complied all the requirements but till date final decision has not been taken."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.8859 of 2024(2) dt.22-07-2024 2/2 seeks a direction upon the District Magistrate, Siwan, to dispose off the application, filed by the petitioner, for grant of arms license, in the year 2011.

Per contra, the learned counsel for the respondentState submits that in case any application has been filed by the petitioner for grant of arms license and the same is still pending consideration, the same would definitely be disposed off, within a stipulated time frame, as is fixed by this Court.

4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate, Siwan, to dispose off the aforesaid application, filed by the petitioner for grant of arms license, in case the same has actually been filed and is still pending consideration, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order in accordance with, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
