The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with Kadamkuan P.S. Case No. 186 of 2020 registered under Sections 120-B and 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. His prayer for bail was earlier rejected by this Court vide order
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39861 of 2020(4) dt.13-04-2022 2/2 dated 24.07.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 22050 of 2020. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that by now the petitioner has remained in custody for about two years and the trial has yet not come to an end. Considering the nature of the offence and the period of about two years undergone by the petitioner in custody, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge (Excise), Patna in connection with Special Case No. 3441 of 2020 arising out of Kadamkuan P.S.
