This writ application has been filed for issuance of mandamus against respondents commanding them to register an first information report on the report, dated 29.03.2017, of the petitioner.

The State-respondents have filed counter affidavit and in paragraph 8 have stated on oath that Gopalganj Town P.S. Case No. 338 of 2017 has already been registered on 04.08.2017 on the basis of fardbeyan of petitioner, Surendra Ram.
