The writ Court in CWJC No. 6822 of 2016 on 17.04.2017 directed the respondent to take fresh steps for selection of Contractors for distribution of mid-day meal. A show cause on behalf of the Opposite Party no. 5 is on record in which in paragraph-8, it has been stated that earlier the mid-day meal was being done jointly by Block Education Officer and Block Resource Person and further fresh tender
Patna High Court MJC No.2981 of 2018(4) dt.01-08-2023 2/2 process will be issued under the new guidelines which is processed.
The said show cause is of 2019 and it is not clear that pursuant to that fresh tender, further steps taken or not. In that view of the matter, the MJC No. 2981 of 2018 stands disposed of with a direction to the opposite parties concerned to take steps for issuance of tender relating to the distribution of mid-day meal if still not done.
