2. The petitioners seek bail in connection with Sarai P.S. Case No. 37 of 2024 instituted for the offences under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Prosecution case, in short, is that the petitioners along with the family members tortured and killed the deceased for the non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have falsely been implicated in the present case. Petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the deceased. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that general and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36458 of 2025(2) dt.20-06-2025 2/3 omnibus allegation has been made against the petitioners. No specific overt act is alleged against the petitioners. Learned counsel further submitted that no complainant regarding the torture of the deceased was lodged before the present incident. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have never harassed or tortured the deceased nor have made any demand of dowry. They have also no concern with the family affair of the deceased Neha Kumari and her family. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the petitioners are in custody since 29.03.2025 and have no criminal antecedent. Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that the husband of the deceased has already been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 19.02.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 82597 of 2024. Charge-sheet has been submitted in this case.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioners.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, there being no specific allegation against the petitioners, the period of custody undergone by the petitioners as also the prayer for bail being based on parity, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

7. Let the petitioners be released on bail on furnishing

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36458 of 2025(2) dt.20-06-2025 3/3 bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court below/concerned Court in connection with Sarai P.S. Case No. 37 of 2024.
