The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Bettiah Muffasil P.S. Case No. 165 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 379 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act. As per the prosecution case, this petitioner fired upon the informant which hit her left leg.

It is submitted that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case due to previous enmity. The injury attributed to this petitioner is simple in nature and not on the vital part of the body.

Counsel for State opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioner has got criminal antecedents. Considering the nature of accusation and criminal
