2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Ladaiyater P.S. Case No. 43 of 2022, dated 16.07.2022, lodged under Sections 304(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution, the daughter of the informant was killed due to non-fulfillment of a dowry demand.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He further submits that the petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased, aged about 71 years, and has a clean criminal antecedent. It is further submitted that there is no specific allegation in the entire FIR against the petitioner regarding torture or demand of dowry. Counsel also submits that the petitioner never tortured her

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
6. As such, in the present facts and circumstances of this case, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Trial Court within a period of 4 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand) as mentioned in Section 2(1)(d) of the BNSS, 2023 to the satisfaction of J.M., 1st Class, Munger, in connection with Ladaiyater P.S. Case No. 43 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down U/s 482(2) of the BNSS, 2023.
