Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Fatehpur P. S. Case No. 54/2001 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 452, 504, 364, 307 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner has sought pre-arrest bail in a case registered in the year 2001, he remained absconding for long period and thereafter, he has come. Due to his abscondence, the case remained pending for such a long time. In this case, the prearrest of bail of other accused have already been disposed of vide Cr. Misc. No. 33622/2004 and Cr. Misc. no. 28035/2001. The

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36792 of 2014 (3) dt.09-04-2015 2/2 name of the petitioner has transpired during investigation and as such, the present case is not fit case for grant of pre-arrest bail. Therefore, prayer of bail of the petitioner stands rejected. However, in case, if so advised, the petitioner seeks regular bail, his prayer for bail shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by this order.
