The petitioner is accused in connection with NDPS Case No. 15 of 2019 (CIS No. 15 of 2019) arising out of Brahampur P.S. Case No. 436 of 2019 registered under sections 21/22(b) of the N.D.P.S. Act pending in the Court of 6th Additional District and Sessions Judge, Buxar-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Buxar.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that earlier prayer of the petitioner for bail was rejected by this Court vide Cr. Misc. No. 85967 of 2019 on 18.01.2020 on merit. Further submission is that petitioner is in custody since 04.10.2019.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2456 of 2021(5) dt.24-03-2021 2/2 Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the prayer of the petitioner.

Having considered the above facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the leaned counsel, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is rejected.

However, learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of six months.
