The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Sultanganj P.S. Case No. 337 of 2017 registered for the offence under Sections 498A and 494/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per prosecution case, the specific allegation against the petitioner is that he assaulted the informant and also solemnised second marriage within the lifetime of one spouse. Petitioner being husband is not maintaining his family. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as nature of accusation, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
