JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 21-12-2020 Heard Mr. Prabhat Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State. The petitioner, who is in custody since 12.07.2020 seeks bail in connection with Sakra P.S. Case No. 179 of 2020 dated 16.05.2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 272, 273 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30 (a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that from a vehicle, approximately 42.420 litres of liquor has been recovered. The petitioner has not been named in the F.I.R. but his name has only come during the course of investigation.

No.34511 of 2020(2) dt.21-12-2020 2/2 Regard being had to the afore-stated facts and the period of custody of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Muzaffarpur, in connection with Sakra P.S. Case No. 179 of 2020.
